TRI is proud to host our annual Boots, Brews, and BBQ event on Friday, September 20, from 6:30-11:00 PM at the Harold and Kay Peplau Therapeutic Riding Center. Join us for a casual, blue-jeans-wearing evening of scrumptious food and spirits, music and dancing in the barn, tours to meet the horses, and lots of fun!

This year, BBBBQ attendees will have the opportunity to bid on horse-themed artwork generously donated by local and national artists. In addition, our multi-talented horses are contributing their own artwork—beautiful abstracts painted by the horses themselves!

Artists with a passion for making equestrian and western inspired art are invited to donate a piece to TRI for auction at our annual Boots, Brews and BBQ gala fundraiser on September 20, 2019. Each item donated will include an artist Bio with contact information at the display point and on our website. We would be delighted to promote your painting, pottery, sculpture, jewelry or other media as you partner with TRI to provide horsemanship opportunities for children and adults with disabilities.

How You Can Help: Create and donate a western and/or equestrian inspired piece of art. Pieces can include, but not limited to, painting, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, etc. A Silent Auction will be held the night of our BBQ and all auction proceeds will be used to enhance our therapy programs as well as ensure the continued health of our horses. Please join our TRI family of supporters. To submit artwork, click here. Deadline for submissions: August 1.

The Bob Skon Trio

Attendees will be greeted as they enter the barn by the Bob Skon Trio, a local band known for up-beat, contemporary folk-rock original songs as well as covers of beloved classics.

A Boots, Brews, and BBQ event wouldn’t be complete without great barbeque, and Red Rock BBQ certainly fits the bill. Tender pulled pork, chicken, and brisket, along with scrumptious sides and plenty of vegetarian options are sure to please every palate. Beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will be on tap, and delicious desserts will round out the meal.

Tickets for BBBBQ 2019 will be available for purchase mid-July.
