Getting Started
If you’re interested in joining our Adaptive Horsemanship Program, here are the steps to get started:
Fill out our Online Participant Application
Prospective/new participants, we currently have a wait list for our Adaptive Horsemanship Program. Fill out the online participant application to be added to our pool of applicants.
Attend an evaluation
When we have a suitable class opening, we will contact to you schedule an evaluation with a PATH-certified instructor. Evaluations include a brief interview, an assessment on our horse simulator (an Equicizer), and a tour of the facility. Evaluations are required and ensure that we can safely provide Adaptive Horsemanship Lessons to you or your participant.
Submit remaining forms & payment
After a successful evaluation, we require 2 more forms before your first lesson. Please do not submit these until your evaluation is complete, as they must be completed in the current calendar year!
Liability Release Form (PDF Download)
Download, print & sign the “Liability Release” form. You may scan and return it to us via email (rider@therapeuticridinginc.org)
Physician’s Statement (PDF Download)
Have your physician fill out the “Physician’s Statement” form. It may be scanned and returned to us via email (rider@therapeuticridinginc.org)
Once you your evaluation is complete and we have you scheduled in Adaptive Horsemanship Lessons, you will receive an invoice for payment.
