Your volunteer experience at TRI is limitless! Volunteers assist our certified instructors by working alongside our riders in and out of the arena to ensure they have a safe, fun and productive riding lesson!
The Role of a Volunteer at TRI:
Lesson Facilitator
The best job at TRI! Lesson Facilitators help certified instructors deliver safe & effective programming to people with a wide variety of disabilities. No previous horse experience is necessary. New volunteers must go through our orientation program prior to volunteering. Lesson Facilitators:
Walk with participants in mounted lessons, assisting them as they ride
Help participants with unmounted equestrian activities.
Who can Volunteer with us?
Volunteers must:
Be at least 14 years of age
Be able to pass a background check
Be physically capable of walking in sand for 30 minutes
